Strawberry Banana Frozen Yogurt – A homemade frozen yogurt recipe made with real ingredients: strawberries, bananas, yogurt, maple syrup, & honey.
This recipe is simple to make. Add frozen strawberries, frozen bananas, plain yogurt, maple syrup, and honey to a food processor. Then, process it until it’s smooth. You can eat it immediately if you like it soft. Or, transfer the froyo to a sealed container and store it in the freezer until it’s a little more solid.
I always slice up my over ripe bananas and place them into a food storage bag and place them in the freezer for use in smoothies. So, I tend to always have frozen bananas on hand. But, if you don’t, be sure to freeze them for at least two hours before making this recipe.

Has anyone tried this with Greek yogurt and without the extra sugar substitutes of honey and maple syrup? I have a friend who is about to have gastric bypass surgery and wanted to find a treat she could have while recovering that would avoid the extra sugar, since diet restrictions include high protein but restrict sugar. This seems like a good replacement for ice cream and dessert. I wanted to help her in her discovery of tasty (and easy) recipes that she can still enjoy while meeting her diet guidelines.
Homemade frozen yogurt is the best! I also keep bananas in the freezer for easy use in recipes like this.
YES!!!! These are my favorite flavors for my morning smoothie, so I knew I’d just love them in my frozen yogurt. It makes me feel like summer is finally here.
