Other Pizza Toppings

I used all the ingredients I think of when I order a supreme pizza. But, there are more pizza toppings you could try to add: sliced jalapeño, banana pepper rings, pineapple tidbits, crumbled bacon, etc.

How To Store

Store leftovers in a sealed container for up to four days. Or, store in a sealed container in the freezer for up to three months. Transfer from the freezer to the refrigerator to thaw the day before you want to serve it.

  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 24 oz. jar pasta sauce or marinara

  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Add the olive oil to a large high-sided skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, for five minutes.

  • Add the oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Add the pasta sauce and olives. Stir well. Reduce the heat to low. Let the sauce simmer for five minutes.
  • As the sauce is cooking, cook the pasta just shy of al dente.
