Ingredients
2Tbspolive oil
8oz.sliced mushrooms(bella or white)
1lb.sausage(Italian, hot, sweet, etc.)
1mediumyellow onionchopped
1 mediumgreen bell pepperchopped
1 1/2tspdried oregano
1 1/2tspdried basil
1tspgarlic powder
1/2tspsalt
1/2tsp black pepper
24oz.jar pasta sauceor marinara
3.5oz.can sliced olivesdrained (black or green)
8oz.mini farfalle pastaor any small pasta shape
8oz.shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Add the olive oil to a large high-sided skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, for five minutes.
Add the sausage. Break it apart. Add the onions and peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, 8-10 minutes, until the sausage is cooked through. If necessary, strain off any excess grease.
Add the oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Add the pasta sauce and olives. Stir well. Reduce the heat to low. Let the sauce simmer for five minutes.
As the sauce is cooking, cook the pasta just shy of al dente.
Drain the pasta. Add the sauce to the pasta. Stir well.
Transfer the pasta to a 9x13" baking dish. Spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the pasta. Spread the sliced pepperoni out evenly over the cheese.
Bake 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbling.
